HEALTHY CHILDREN OVER 2 YEARS OLD MAY RECEIVE FLUMIST® (INTRANASAL VACCINE) IF THEY QUALIFY*
AND AS LONG AS SUPPLIES LAST.
PARENTS WHO QUALIFY* FOR FLUMIST® MAY ALSO OPT TO RECEIVE THIS INTRANASAL VACCINE.
WE STRIVE TO BE ABLE TO VACCINATE ALL CMA PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
* Persons qualify for FluMist® (intranasal flu vaccine) if they are between the ages of 2 and 49 years AND do not have any of the following conditions: egg allergy, asthma, reactive airway disease, heart or lung disease, Aspirin therapy, history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, immune deficiency, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
All influenza vaccines (intranasal and injectable) should be avoided by individuals with a severe egg allergy, allergy to any vaccine component, or a history of severe reaction to the vaccine.
